The cyber security unemployment rate was at 0% in 2019, where it has been for 8 years. There will be 3.5 million unfilled cyber security jobs by 2021 up from 1 million positions in 2014 and these jobs are very well paid! It's often claimed that cyber security is a recession-proof career. Many roles like penetration testing can be done remotely. So its never been a better time to start a career in cyber security.
