In the next few lectures, we will be using the cal
command to display a calendar in the terminal.
However, the cal command is no longer included in more recent versions of Ubuntu (20.04 onwards, I believe), so you may receive a message in your terminal asking you to install the ncal
package.
You can do install this package by following the instructions below:
1) Type sudo apt -y install ncal
in your terminal
2) Press Enter
3) Type in your password (nothing will show up, but its working [this is a security feature])
4) Press Enter
It should then install for you, and you can then follow along using the cal
command like I do in the videos!
Best wishes,
Ziyad
