Although you can sit an AWS associate level exam without any previous qualifications, before proceeding with this part of the pathway you must complete section 1 AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner to gain the foundation knowledge required.

Section 1 also contains advanced lectures and labs that are required knowledge for all Associate level certifications. If you have joined BackSpace Academy from another Cloud Practitioner course, you will not have the required knowledge to proceed further.
